Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to receive my order?

Ready-to-ship items typically go out within 1–2 business days.

Made-to-order goods are completed in the order they’re received. Check the banner at the top of the site for current lead times.

Need it fast? Reach out, and we’ll do our best to help.

Do you accept custom orders?

Absolutely. Whether it’s a tweak to an existing item or a fully original idea, we’re open to both.

Email us at TumblnTLeather@gmail.com or use our custom work form to get started.

Note: We reserve the right to pass on projects that don’t align with what we do.

How do I know what size belt to order?

The best way to size your belt is to take an old one and measure from the buckle tongue (the prong tip) to the hole you use most. That measurement gives us the sweet spot — and we’ll build your new belt to allow a little room to tighten or loosen from there.

We’ll include a helpful visual guide on this page soon.

Do you offer returns or exchanges?

We stand behind our craftsmanship.

  • Defects: We’ll repair or replace!
  • Ready to Ship Items: Returnable within 30 days if unused.
  • Custom Orders: Not returnable unless it’s a craftsmanship error.

How should I care for my leather item?

Most of our leather goods are low maintenance.

If the leather ever feels dry or loses its luster, just apply a small amount of your favorite leather conditioner. We personally recommend Blackrock Leather N Rich or Smith’s Leather Balm — both made by family-run U.S. businesses.

And don’t forget: leather ages beautifully. Many of our pieces, especially bridle belts, will develop a rich patina over time — that’s part of the charm.

What kind of leather do you use?

It depends on the project:

  • Bridle leathers come from Chahin Tannery
  • Wallet interiors are often El Matador leather from Maker’s Leather Supply in Texas
  • Most other materials come from Springfield Leather Co., just an hour down the road from our shop.

We choose leather for durability, beauty, and long-term wear — nothing here is mass-produced or low quality.

Do you offer gift cards?

Not right now — but we’re thinking about it. If that’s something you’re interested in, drop us a line and let us know!
